Tom Witcombe is a Sydney comedian and one of the most exciting voices in Australian stand-up right now. A 2021 RAW Comedy National Grand Finalist at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Tom has put in serious time at the rooms that matter: The Comedy Store, Happy Endings Comedy Club, iD Comedy Club and Kookaburra's Comedy, where he sharpened the dark, fearless writing that's now taken him to Perth Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane, Newcastle, and plenty of places in between.
What sets Tom apart in the Sydney stand-up scene is his relentlessly dark humour and writing that pulls no punches — direct, fearless, and completely locked in. That's probably why he's been trusted to open for Daniel Sloss, Andrew Hamilton, and Daniel Muggleton, performers who need a very specific energy from whoever's warming up their room. Three full-length comedy specials speak to that consistency, including "Selfies at the 9/11 Museum", filmed at the Sydney Comedy Festival in May 2025, which racked up over 100,000 YouTube views as a self-released special and 1.2 million likes on TikTok.
